WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading-
A River Runs Through It by Norman McLean
A River Runs Through It is one of my all time favourite movies and I have been meaning to read the book for ages. I am not too far in to it but it is beautiful. I love this story and reading it brings me so much comfort. I am looking forward to reading the other short stories that are included in this book as well!
Just Finished-
The Beauty That Remains by Ashley Woodfolk
I am so happy that Penguin Random House Canada was kind enough to send me a copy of this book! It was one of my most anticipated books of the year, and it certainly delivered. This book is right up there with I’ll Give You the Sun for me! It is beautifully written, and is about a diverse and dynamic cast of characters! There is such a huge focus on the power of music and I just loved that.
Heart Berries by Terese Marie Mailhot
Heart Berries is one of the most honest and raw memoirs that I have ever read. Terese Mailhot has a unique stream of consciousness writing style that took me awhile to get used to but I ended up really enjoying. She puts it all out on the table and I have so much respect for her and what she has been through. An amazing woman that is for sure!
Reading Next–
Year One by Nora Roberts
There was a time when I really loved reading Nora Roberts, especially her books that had an element of paranormal. I have heard amazing things about this book, and it is completely different from what Roberts normally writes, so I am really curious about it! I can not wait to see what I think!
Have you read any of these books? What did you think? If you love A River Runs Through It as much as I do please let me know!!
I haven’t read any of these books but they all seem so interesting! Especially A River Runs Through It! Year One is somewhere in my TBR pile haha
A River Runs Through It is stunning. I am really taking my time with it because I’m enjoying it so much! I have a good feeling about Year One!
I haven’t read any of these but they look great!
I loved the two that I read and am really enjoying A River Runs Through It!
I haven’t read any of these, but I love the cover for Heart Berries.
Here’s our Wednesday post!

Heart Berries is really great! I love the cover too!
The cover of A River Runs Through It is very appealing. I hope you will be writing a review.
I love the cover as well! I will definitely be writing a review. I will probably compare it to the movie too!
The Beauty That Remains! I’m trying to squeeze it in this month, I was approved for a galley so last minute *sobs* but i’ve been reading so much praise that I’m so excited to get to it soon, glad to see you enjoyed it so much! 🙂
Ahh you need to read it!! It is so beautiful!!
I have to confess I didn’t realise (or more likely forgot) a River Runs was based on a book. I haven’t seen that film in years but remember enjoying it so would be tempted to read it.
It is more of a novella really- only 119 pages! I don’t think a lot of people know it exists! You can the same feeling reading the book as you do when you watch the movie.
Year One is on my TBR hopefully for this year! I’ve really liked her books too and there was a time when my little sister mocked me for reading “old people books” 😅
She is actually very talented! I would devour her books and am excited to get back in to them!
I really want to read The Beauty That Remains. It sounds so good and love that cover.
It is so beautiful! I highly recommend it!
I haven’t read these books, but I’ve definitely watched the film A River Runs Through It and I cried. Such a good film so I bet the book is awesome. Nora Roberts always writes awesome content; this new book looks interesting!
The book is a little bit different from the movie but you still get the same feeling while reading it!
I’ve read about 100 pages of Year One and I am really liking it!
