WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading-
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco– I bought this book after seeing it on so many fellow bloggers TBRs! I am so happy that I did! This book is dark and mysterious, and perfect for this time of year. I am only about 100 pages in and can not wait to see where the story is going. To not be surprised if you see the sequel, Hunting Prince Dracula, on a WWW Wednesday in the near future.
Recently Finished-
The History of Bees by Maja Lunde– I am happy to report that the story itself matches this gorgeous cover! I really enjoyed reading this book, and I was equally invested in each storyline. I have never read a book quite like this before and I loved it. If you have any recommendations for other books that are set in the past, present, and future I would love to hear them!
Reading Next-
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman– A Man Called Ove is an all time favourite, so I want to read everything that Backman has written. I have heard a lot of amazing things about this one so I can not wait to get to it!
Have you read any of these books? I would love to hear your thoughts on them! Also, I am always curious to know what you are currently reading!
so excited to find out, what you think of “britt-marie was here” 🙂
Me too! I think I’m going to love it!
Hi! Stalking Jack the Ripper is on my wish list and I hope to read it, more sooner then later!
At the moment I am reading Godsgrave and I am loving it! 🙂
It’s so good!
I have been wanting to read Nevernight for ages! Everyone seems to love that series!
Ahhh Britt-Marie…cute story, I hope you enjoy it!
Oh yay! I’m excited to read it!
Ooh, the cover of A History of Bees just intrigued me, even though I’ve never heard of it until now. Off to go look it up on Goodreads.😉I’m currently reading The Unexpected Everything, by Morgan Matson, and I just finished a really sweet book inspired by Hamilton- it’s called Alex & Eliza.
The cover is even better in person!!
I have been wanting to read more Morgan Matson books and the cover for that one is so cute!
I have heard good things about Alex and Eliza!
I have not read any of these but Stalking jack the Ripper looks really good, I have also been seeing it on a lot of TBR lists! here is a link to my WWW post this week if you wanted to check it out https://noreadstoogreat.wordpress.com/2017/09/27/www-wednesdays/
It’s really great. I think you would enjoy it!
I still need to read Stalking Jack the Ripper and the sequel Hunting Prince Dracula. I think I’m going to have those books on my reading goals for October.
Let’s see, I literally just finished reading One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake, I’m currently reading Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas and A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Cluess, and after those I’ll probably read The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo and Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu.
They are perfect books for October!
Wow you have great reading ahead of you! I have yet to read a Sarah J Maas book and I keep going back and forth on whether I should!
I started out really loving SJM’s books but the last two have just been okay in comparison. I still read them quickly and they are written well, but they kinda feel a bit repetitive and such. I do still recommend giving them a try though.
I think I will try one of her series since I feel left out! Everyone talks about them!
I hope you enjoy them!
I really like the look of Stalking Jack the Ripper. I must add to my TBR.
Have you read Backman’s latest book Beartown? Just curious as I got an ARC ages ago but have never gotten around to reading.
It’s really good so far!
I haven’t but I have heard great things about it. I think it will be my next Backman!
Still waiting my copy of Stalking Jack the Ripper but I’m excited and glad to hear you’re liking it so far!
Ah it is so good!!!
