November TBR | Once Upon a Readathon

I will be participating in Once Upon a Readathon in November, which was created by Hannah Blackwell on BookTube and is quite elaborate. I recommend checking out her announcement video and joining the discord to learn more!

There are five steps that you have to follow in order and there are different points for each prompt. You can overlap the prompts within each step for a total of 350 points. I am also participating in Nonfiction November, so I tried to keep this TBR as short as I could!

I probably could have found a different book that would have gotten me more than 100 points, but I really want to read Twin Crowns for some reason and it works for “a book featuring royalty”. This sounds like your traditional YA fantasy, which is something I have read in a while.

Look at this map! It is perfection! I have heard mixed things about Violet Made of Thorns but I knew it was the winner when I saw this map. I also want to get through a couple of my Fairyloot editions. So this works for all of the prompts, which in nice!

I was sent an ARC of Mistakes Were Made and I need to get to it! It is a sapphic age-gap romance and is also best friend’s mom. It works for all of the prompts, but it is not a debut.

I read The Golem and the Jinni earlier this year and adored it. I have been meaning to read the sequel, The Hidden Palace, ever since. It is perfect because it has magic, a historical setting, and is over 450 pages!

If I have the time, I will post a poll on Instagram at the end of the much, but I think Hench is the perfect choice for this final step! It is a book with a conflict and the main character is a villain!

So, if I get through all of these books, I can earn a total of 1350 for my team! Oh, I chose Team Witches, btw!
