In yesterday’s post, I shared all of the series I started in 2021, and there were many! This list will be much shorter because I am terrible at finishing series!

I have The Kiss Quotient series to thank for making me fall in love with romance again, so I will always have a special place in my heart for this series and for Helen Hoang in general. I love each and every book for different reasons, though The Bride Test is definitely my favourite. Each of the books is super steamy, the characters have amazing chemistry, and there is great representation and discussions throughout. I cannot wait to see what Helen Hoang writes next!

Raybearer is one of my top five books of all time and Redemptor did not disappoint. To me, this duology is close to perfect and one I will continue to recommend. I really hope that Jordan Ifueko is working on something new!

I thought that Serpent & Dove was fun and I loved the banter between the characters, but the series just went downhill from there. I honestly recommend reading the first book as if it were a standalone and I would not have continued on with the series if I were not reading them for a buddy read.

Unlike with Serpent & Dove, I think Dumplin‘ is a series that just got better and better as the books went one and Pumpkin ended up being on of my favourite YA contemporary novels! I love Julie Murphy’s characters and how they feel like real teenagers.

Abby Jimenez has quickly become my favourite romance author and Life’s Too Short solidified that for me. There is so much depth to her stories and her characters always feel so authentic and they go through real-life issues while also falling in love. I have already read her 2022 release, which is the start of a new series, and it was so fantastic!

I am so sad that The Brown Sisters series is over! I loved these sisters and their love interests. I go back and forth on whether Take a Hint or Act Yoru Age is my favourite. I think I relate to Eve the most but I just adored Zaf from Take a Hint. A great series overall and it deserves all of the hype that it gets!
So, I finished six series in 2021, which isn’t terrible. I think it is better than I did in years past! What is the best series you finished this year?

I’ve heard of Dumplin, but I didn’t know about Puddin or Pumpkin! The Brown Sisters sounds interesting too. So much to add to the read later pile!
I think the series is worth reading for Pumpkin alone!!
The Brown Sisters series is incredible!
You did so well! I wanted to finish quote a few but didn’t get there (hello reading slump!!) I did finish quite a few though, around 10?
Awesome! I would love to finish 10 series in 2022. Sounds like a good goal!
wow so many series!! i read The Friend Zone this year and liked it so i’m looking forward to reading the other two eventually as well 😊
I plan to read Brown sisters next year. It sounds amazing.
Yes!! You’re going to want to marathon them!
The kiss quotient series was so wholesome 😭 I am gonna miss them 😭
Me too!! I really hope Helen Hoang is working on something else!
Zaf is love! Or, as the members of my book club call him, ZAAAAAAAAAAAF 🤣
Exactly!!! I love that!
I have sadly only finished one serie and that is The Arc of Scythe which was amazing but I do plan to finish The Bride Test this weekend and continue on with the latest book after that so by December I hope to have finished them all 🙂
Ah I loved Scythe but haven’t finished the series!
Ah I love that series so much. I hope you are enjoying The Bride Test!
You really need to continue on with the series 😛
Yes I enjoy it alot so far hope to have time to continue on with it very soon!
Nice list of series. I still have to finish the The Kiss Quotient series and read The Bride Test.
Two of my favourites!
You read so many great ones! I really want to read The Kiss Quotient series – it sounds so good!
It’s amazing! Definitely one of the series that made me fall in love with romance again.
Raybearer is indeed so good! I loved both books so much!
The best!,
I’m so with you on deciding if Take a Hint or Act Your Age is my fave! I loved them both SO much! I think I’m more like Dani, but I loved Eve just as much too! Those books 100% live rent free in my head. Someone had mentioned to me that Talia Hibbert is working on a new series set in the same world, so I hope that’s true! 😊
Raybearer! I really need to read that one, it sounds amazing. I’m so happy you’re recommending it 🙂
My absolute favourite!
Great reviews!
I definitely want to read Redemptor as I loved Raybearer. My favourite series this year I think was The Age of Madness trilogy by Joe Abercrombie but the Six of Crows duology came close.
