Happy Mardi Gras- Yellow, Purple, and Green Books

Happy Mardi Gras! I struggled with this week’s TTT because I wanted to use only books I had read, but it turns out I have read very few purple books. I just don’t think there are a lot of purple books out there, which is disappointing as purple is my favourite colour!

I noticed that a lot of romances have yellow covers! Other than The Unhoneymooners, the rest of these books are all the second or third books in a series. I loved all five of these, so I highly recommend them. I also love the yellow covers- they stand out on my shelves and bring a smile to my face. Perfect for romances!

The Forever Song is the third book in my favourite vampires series, and The Diviners is another book that I really loved and I desperately need to finish the series. Pet is one of my five star predictions, so I want to pick it up soon. I have been wanting to read something by Haruki Murakami for ages, and I have heard good things about Norwegian Wood. I remember Across the Universe being extremely popular many years ago, but I am still intrigued by it.

I have a feeling The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo will be on many lists this week. It is one of the most iconic books with a green cover! I love how festive the cover for In a Holidaze feels and the spookiness of the cover for Home Before Dark. The cover for Heartstopper brings me so much joy. The Radium Girls is one of my favourite nonfiction books, and of course it would have a green cover.

I tried to find a book that is yellow, purple, and green, but no luck! Let me know if you have one that comes to mind!
