Tiffany @ Read by Tiffany created this amazing tag and she was kind enough to tag me in it! I think you have probably figured it out by now, but I love all things Fall so this is the perfect tag for me. Plus I am a sucker for a cute graphic!

The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
I am realizing that I haven’t read enough lighthearted books this year, but one of my favourites is The Bride Test. The relationship is just so sweet and respectful. What I loved is that although there is a lot of romance and sweet moments, there is also a lot of depth. Helen Hoang is my favourite contemporary romance author!
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
I have seen Serpent & Dove everywhere lately! It is getting so much hype on both Bookstagram and Booktube- I don’t think I have heard a single bad things about it. I am actually currently reading this one as a buddy read so look out for a First Impression Friday on it tomorrow!
Beyond the Point by Claire Gibson
My favourite thing about Beyond the Point was the realistic look at female friendships. The story follows three women and their relationships with one another have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day they will fly halfway across the world to support one another. I also loved that it focused on long-distance friendships, which can be quite complicated.
Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu
Mooncakes is a graphic novel that will give you all the cozy Fall vibes and will just make your heart happy. Sure, there is a little action and magic, but its strength lies in the characters and their friendship/relationship. It is so damn charming and brings a smile to my face just thinking about it!
Emoni from With the Fire On High
I had to go with the same answers as Tiffany on this one. Emoni is one of my favourite characters and I loved the role that food played in this book. It is not something that I often read about and it was refreshing. The way that Emoni is able to whip a meal together is impressive and inspiring!
His Hideous Heart edited by Dahlia Adler
His Hideous Heart made me jump for joy not because of the subject matter, which is dark and creepy, but because it has been so long since I loved an anthology this much! There was something I loved and appreciated about every single story in this collection and that made me so happy. I found a bunch of new authors whose backlist I want to read- it is always a win for me when an anthology can do that.
I would love to see everyone’s answers to these questions! Happy Fall!
Oh my gosh, this is so cute!! 💕🎃🍁
Loved reading your answers! Ansd the graphics are indeed very cute!

Totally agree with Emoni being an amazing character AND cheff
So true. One of my favourites!
I want to read The Bride Test so bad! I keep seeing it everywhere! I still need to read Serpent & Dove. I hope it lives up to the hype haha
The Bride Test is adorable! I am almost halfway through Serpent and Dove now and it just keeps getting better!
Yay!! I’m so excited that you decided to do this tag ❤️❤️❤️ I really loved seeing your answers and some of my favorite books/TBR on your list! I’m really excited to read MoonCakes, and I love that you included it here. The Bride Test was also definitely super cute!!
Thank you for making such a great tag. I think you’ll love Mooncakes- so sweet!
This was such a fun tag! I am definitely going to add “Beyond the Point” to my TBR because I love books with great friendships in them! It sounds right up my alley, too 🙂
