Look at me posting two days in row! Really want to get back into the habit of blogging and I forgot how fun it is to put together posts for Top Ten Tuesday. Did anyone else struggle this week though? Apparently I do not know of my many books with an occupation in the title. The first five are books I have read and the last five are on my TBR.

The Raven Scholar is one of the best books I have read so far this year, so it definitely lived up to the hype. Do not let the size of it scared you off because it is worth it!
The Maid and the Crocodile is criminally underrated and I should just use my return to blogging to hype this book up 24/7 because it deserves more attention.
A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic was such a sweet cozy fantasy and one that still warms my heart when I think about it. I need to continue on with the series at some point!
The Weaver and the Witch Queen was a book club read and something I probably never would have gotten around to on my own, but I am glad we read it because it took me by surprise. One of my favourite witchy historical fiction novels.
Chef’s Kiss is a super cute graphic novel and reminds me that I should look into reading more graphic novels because it has been a minute. Any recommendations?

The Princess and the PI is a September release that I cannot wait to get my hands on! I want to be a lover of romantic suspense novels and I think this one has so much potential.
The Grimoire Grammar School Teacher Association is quite the title but I have a feeling I will love this! Dreadful by the same author was one of the best books I read last year.
Death of the Author is a 2025 release that is definitely on my radar. Can you believe I have yet to read anything by this author?
The Ornithologist’s Guide to Love should not still be on my TBR because I have no doubt I am going to love it and it has been recommended to me so many times. No idea why I am putting if off!
Butcher and Blackbird was so hyped that I am excited some of that has died down now and I can go into it with more realistic expectations. Looks like a perfect fall read to me!

The Weaver and the Witch Queen sounds like a lot of fun! The Death of the Author sounds good too—and I have read books by Okorafor before, so I expect it will be really well written, too.
The Weaver and the Witch Queen is so interesting. Made for a great book club discussion too!
You have a good mis of books here. I think a friend read The Weaver and the Witch Queen, but I can’t remember anything about it.

It’s definitely worth reading! Thought it was unique.
I haven’t read any of these, but now I’m looking up Maid and the Crocodile! I struggled with this week’s prompt too. I thought it would be easier.
So curious about Raven Scholar since everyone seems to like it.
I was nervous it was overhyped but I loved it!
This was such a fun topic this week, and I love your choices!
Great list!
Yes! I struggled with this topic more than I thought I would. THE GRIMOIRE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION is on my list this week, too. It sounds like such a fun read.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
