This week’s topic is timely since I am currently co-hosting a readathon where the goal is to read books with water settings, so I have a lot of books with covers that remind me of summer on my radar right now! For me, a summery cover is usually bright a vibrant and includes some kind of water element.

American Mermaid is a literary novel that can be classified as satire and shines a lot on the problems within Hollywood.
Rubi Ramos’s Recipe for Success is a YA foodie romance and a new release.
Where the Rhythm Takes You is a YA second-chance romance set in Trinidad.
The Silence That Binds Us is a YA contemporary with heavier themes.
