My Favorite “Aww” Moments In Books

I am a sucker for an “aww” moment, but I don’t want to spoil them for you so I am going to try and be vague. Just know that all of these books have one or more sweet moments that have stayed with me.

As soon as I saw this week’s prompt, I knew that I had to put Love Radio at the top of the list. It is a really simple moment but it was intimate and stood out to me. I think if you read this, you will know what scene I am talking about!

The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches in its entirety is one giant aww moment and I loved every single second of it! It is grump/sunshine, and I think that trope inherently leads to sweet moments. There were also charming moments between our main character and the younger witches she is working with. Too cute!

I love when a character stands up to their partner’s family when they can’t do it themselves. Something about that is so sweet to me, and that definitely happens in D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding!

Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake reads like you are behind the scenes of The Great British Bake Off, and if you know anything about that show you know that it is made up of aww moments!

A Certain Appeal is a Pride and Prejudice retelling but the ending is a little bit different and was so satisfying and sweet. I was cheering the characters on!

Part of Your World is my favourite romance and the small-town setting lends itself well to some aww moments. It also doesn’t hurt that Daniel is such a cinnamon roll!

I adore Julie Murphy and Pumpkin is my favourite book of hers because the found family in it is just too sweet!

There is actually a moment in You Should See Me in a Crown that is so touching it made me cry!

Somewhere Between Bitter and Sweet has some heavier themes, but the way that these two characters were always in each other’s corner was adorable to me! And so refreshing!

You know I had to include a holiday romance on this list because they are always so cheesy and full of aww moments. Faking Under the Mistletoe is my favourite!
