2022 seems to be the year of cozy mysteries and I am here for it! I like to read cozies throughout the year, but there is something about Halloween and Christmas that just lend themselves perfectly to the genre. So I thought it would be fun to share ten of the many cozies that are on my TBR for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday Halloween freebie.

How cute do these Halloween/witchy cozy mysteries look? When the Crow’s Away is the sequel to In the Company of Witches, which is a book I just read and loved. I am excited to have more from these characters!
Curse the Day is set in a town where all of the supernatural creatures are cursed. That sounds like a good time to me!
The title alone makes me excited for Spells and Shelves! Our main character is a witch who lives in an enchanted library and finds a dead body behind a bookshelf. Fun!
Southern Magic looks adorable and it is the first book in a series that currently has 26 books!
The town in Candy Coated Murder is called Pumpkin Hollow- how cute is that!?

The first cozy mystery series that I fell in love with was The Christmas Tree Farm Mystery Series, so I have a special place in my heart for cozies set around the holidays. I will be honest, I do not know much about these but I was drawn in by the covers and the titles! Yule Be Sorry is the sequel to Baking Bad, which is a cozy I have been raving about since I read it!

It truly is! They bring me so much joy!
me too!
I like that you have a mixture of Halloween and Christmas setting cozy reads for those that enjoy seasonal mysteries.
It’s going to be holiday season before we know it!!
I don’t think I’ve read any cozy mysteries, I seem to go for the really dark ones like Tana French. But these sound like a nice break. It sounds like Baking Bad might be a good one to try! I also like the latest trend of witchy romances – I enjoyed Not the Witch You Wed.
I keep meaning to try Tana French! I’m so glad you enjoyed Not the Witch You Wed. I did too!
Cute covers. I hope you love them all!
Thank you!!
