Stacking The Shelves (hosted by Reading Reality) is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, whether physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

I was sent one eARC and four physical ARCs this week and I am excited about them all! Take the Lead is a rerelease and has a new cover, which is stunning. I loved You Had Me at Hola, so I am excited to read something else from Alexis Daria.
I am having a complicated relationship with thrillers at the moment, but I have high hopes for Anywhere You Run. I heard amazing things about the author’s debut, All Her Little Secrets, when it came out last year. This seems to be more of a historical fiction thriller, which is more appealing to me than something contemporary.
The Lost Witch is a book I hadn’t heard about until it arrived on my doorstep, which is exciting! MacMillan must know how much I love witchy books. This doesn’t come out until December 27th, which seems like an odd choice, but I will get to it soon and let you know if it is worth preordering!
How to Excavate a Heart is one of my most anticipated holiday romances of the year. I cannot believe that I have an ARC! It follows Jewish characters, is sapphic, and is enemies-to-lovers and they are snowed in together on Christmas Eve. Sounds amazing!
Cozy mysteries are my new thing and Six Feet Deep Dish looks perfect! I just love that every cozy is centred around food and cats. What more could I want?

I bought a copy of In the Company of Witches for a new cozy mystery book club that I have joined! This looks like the perfect fall read, especially since I am all about witches this year.
My dad actually bought me a copy of Before the Coffee Gets Cold simply because he saw there was a cat on the cover. He had no idea just how popular this book is or how much I have been wanting to read it. Good job, Dad!
I noticed that three of the books on this list have a cat on the cover. I am sure that surprised no one!

I haven’t read any of these but enjoy!
Thank you!
That is so funny that your dad bought a book for you just because a cat was on the cover and it turned out to be a book you really wanted.
I know! I was so impressed!!
Good job to your dad on buying Before the Coffee Gets Cold! I really enjoyed that one; I hope you do too!
It was such a nice surprise! I’m really looking forward to it.
