WWW Wednesday (October 12th, 2021)

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

At the time I am writing this, I am 40% of the way through the audiobook for They Never Learn, and I cannot stop listening. There is something special about finding a thriller that really works for you. I am getting the same feeling I had when I listened to Don’t Look for Me by Wendy Walker last Fall. So far, They Never Learn is compulsively readable and I am enjoying both perspectives. I love that it is dark academia and one of the characters feels like a female Dexter. I cannot wait to see where this story goes!

Just Finished

I just posted a reading vlog for If the Shoe Fits. It was exactly what I needed after such a tough week. It was the perfect distraction and was really sweet. I adored all of the nods to Cinderella and how it felt like a behind-the-scenes look into the Bachelor franchise. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

Starting Next

I am so in the mood for a creepy and atmospheric read, and I have a feeling that The Lighthouse Witches is going to be perfect for that. I have not read nearly enough witchy books this year!

  1. I agree about finding the right type of thriller – there are just so many books of that type, it’s difficult to find one you really enjoy. They Never Learn sounds interesting though!
