Summer Reading Wrap Up | Did I Read the Books on My Summer TBR?

Summer is officially coming to an end, so I thought it would be fun to look back at my summer TBR and see how I did. I also want to share some stats and my favourite books of the summer.

There were 10 books on my summer TBR, and I managed to read five of them and DNF one. The five I read were The Heart Principle, Redemptor, The Remains of the Day, My Contrary Mary, and Ayesha at Last. I sadly DNFed Accidentally Engaged, which is a book I was really excited about but just could not get into.

In my mind, June, July, and August are the summer months, so I won’t include any of the books I read so far in September when talking about my favourite books of the summer!

I read 36 books this summer for a total of 13,093 pages and an average rating of 4.09, which is amazing!

Summer Favourites

It feels as though I have talked about these eight books so much over the last couple months and I am sure I will continue to feature them! I am realizing that all but one (The Remains of the Day) are 2021 releases… I really do need to start focusing more on my backlist books!

What was the best book you read this summer?
