I haven’t posted a book haul since January, so I figured it was about time! It is always interesting to go through a few months of book shopping and seeing how many I have read and which ones are still sitting on my TBR shelf.
Books I Have Read
Ready or Not was a cover buy for me because it had such strong spring vibes! I was nervous about the surprise pregnancy trope but I ended up having a great time with this one.
Abby Jimenez is an auto-buy author, so of course I preordered Just for the Summer! I read it right away and it quickly became one of my favourite romances from her.
I listened to the audiobook of Before I Let Go and knew that I needed a copy for my shelves! I want to slowly collect all of Kennedy Ryan’s books.
Obviously I want to own the entire Mead Mishaps series, but I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf because it is my favourite book in the series so far.
Radiance is my favourite fantasy romance and I want to reread and annotate it before the finally continuing on with the series!
I saw the blue foiled edges for the first printing of A Fate Inked in Blood and I knew I needed a copy! I had mixed feelings about this one in the end but still happy I read it and I will continue on with the series.
There are a few books in the Mortal Enemies to Monster Lovers series that caught my eye but of course I had to grab Slaying the Vampire Conqueror first since I adore Carissa Broadbent!
I don’t often buy graphic novels but Garlic and the Vampire is one of my favourites and it is so adorable that I just needed a copy!
I adored Daughter of the Moon Goddess and was so happy to have more stories set in that world. Tales from the Celestial Kingdom is stunning and has some incredible illustrations!
I already had a copy of Ashes of the Sun but it did not match the editions I have of the other two books in the series. Normally that doesn’t bother me, but this is one of my favourite series and for some reason it got to me so I needed to get a matching edition!
I am slowly collecting all of T. Kingfisher’s books, as she is my favourite author, so I grabbed both What Moves the Dead and What Feasts at Night!
I read an ARC of Evocation and adored it, so I preordered a finished copy! The first printing is a special edition and it is absolutely beautiful.
I collect different editions of Pride and Prejudice and these are the two that are newest to my collection! They are both absolutely stunning!
Books on My TBR
Slaying the Shadow Prince is another book in that Mortal Enemies to Monster Lovers series and it is the other book in the series that caught my attention. I have heard good things about this author in general!
I have yet to read anything by Ali Hazelwood but I caved and bought Bride. I am just so curious!
I was sent an ARC of Hunter’s Gambit and I am so excited to read it! If you tell me a book has vampires, I will want to give it a try.
I no longer receive any subscription boxes (and have no regrets about cancelling them!), so I love that we are getting more and more special editions that you can find at any bookstore. That is the case for my copy of The Shadow Between Us, and I know that a lot of people love this author.
The Herbwitch’s Apprentice is another cover buy! I am always up for a cozy fantasy that is also witchy.
I’m sad that I have yet to read The Book That Broke the World since I loved the first book so much! I need to know where the story goes from here.
At this point, I will grab whatever Grace Draven writes, so when I saw Entreat Me, I had to have it!
I am in the mood for some more contemporary romance and I have been hearing amazing things about Truly, Madly, Deeply!
Where Sleeping Girls Lie was one of my most anticipated books of the year! I think it is a good one to break up all of the fantasy I have been reading lately.
I want to return to my love of weird literary fiction and I think Boy Parts sounds like a good one to start with!
I found a copy of Ghosts for really cheap and I know people adore this author!
