I will discuss my 2023 in a future post, but these are the books I would love to get to in the first couple of months of 2023. I also have to read all the SPFBO finalists during that time, but I haven’t included them because I talk about those in a different post!

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet is the January pick for the Book Check Out Book Club and the live show will be in February on my channel! I have already read this book and it was one of my favourites, so I am nervous to see what everyone else thinks. I am hoping to reread this and then finally continue on with the rest of the series.
I was told that The Raven and the Reindeer is the perfect book to read in the winter and you already know that I adore T. Kingfisher!
I just finished Small Miracles by Olivia Atwater, so I am desperate to read Half a Soul since it seems to be her most beloved book. I am continuing my cozy fantasy journey in 2023!
Dead and Gondola is a cozy mystery set at a ski resort! Sounds like the perfect book to read in the winter and I know it is going to be a good time!
I have an ALC of All the Dangerous Things thanks to Libro.fm. I am trying to find what I love in thrillers/mysteries and I have a good feeling about this one!

I read Unconquerable Sun for the Book Check Out Book Club and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I was thrilled when I was approved for an ARC of the sequel, Furious Sun; however, the fact that it is over 800 pages terrifies me!
Role Playing is one of my most anticipated romances and I grabbed an eARC on Netgalley! I love that it focuses on older characters who meet while gaming online. So fun!
I really enjoyed You Had Me at Hola, and I have been meaning to read more from Alexis Daria. I was sent an ARC of Take the Lead and was thrilled. This is actually a rerelease with a new cover!
Always the Almost comes out on Valentine’s Day and just looks so sweet! I also have an ARC of this one.
Not Your Ex’s Hexes is the sequel to Not the Witch You Wed- another book that took me by surprise! I have an eARC and I am dying to read it!

Role Playing sounds so good! It, The Raven and the Reindeer, and Half a Soul are on my TBR, too. And while I don’t plan to re-read The Long Way… first, I do want to continue with the Wayfarers series in 2023 also.

I made my Reading Challenge goal so I’m in reread zone. First up, The Love Hypothesis. Then, Electric Idol.
