I just finished a book this morning, so I haven’t started Small Miracles or How to Excavate a Heart. However, I will be doing reading sprints for the Reindeer Readathon tonight (yesterday for you!) and I hope to make a dent in both of these. I really need to start on the SPFBO finalists, so Small Miracles is a high priority.

Talk Santa to Me was a fun and fast YA holiday romance, though I use the term romance loosely. It is more about Francie trying to find what makes her happy. If you are looking for a cheesy Christmas read, this is it. It is super festive!
I read Black Sun for book club (our live show is on Sunday, December 11th at 2 pm EST, if you are interested!) and I am still working out how I feel about it. There was a lot that I loved here but the ending felt really abrupt! Hopefully I will have more to say on Sunday once I think about my rating more.

A Merry Little Meet Cute seems to be the holiday romance of the year and I need to get to it before Christmas! Where has the time gone!?

It was a little bit of a disappointment for me to be honest. There was a lot that I loved about it (the body positivity, the premise, the setting) but the romance fell a little flat for me. But I know so many people who have really loved it so I hope you’re one of them! 😊

I cannot wait to read How to Excavate a Heart – I’m trying to save it until after finals so I can fully enjoy it. Hope you love it!! I also keep seeing Talk To Me Santa everywhere so if I get all of my festive books read and still have time before Christmas I might have to pick it up!
I started How to Excavate a Heart this morning and it is so readable! I am having a great time with it. I think it is going to be the perfect treat when you are finished finals!
