I am beyond thrilled to announce that I am co-hosting the Reindeer Readathon this year and I will be the captain of Team Stocking! This is especially exciting for me since I participated last year and had so much fun. It is a great way to get into the holiday spirit and I am honoured to be co-hosting this year.
The Teams
Team Nutcracker (Christine & Mo)
When you sign up, Erik will email you and assign you to a team at random, so there is no guarantee that you will be on my team, but every single host is incredible. You can’t go wrong! Though Team Stocking did win last year and I plan to keep that tradition going…
The Prompts
These prompts are so fun and broad, which is what I look for when doing a readathon. My wheels are already turning and I am thinking about my TBR, so I will be posting that closer to December. Also, how adorable are these graphics!?
The Santa Clauses
There are ways to get bonus points, but they must be done in conjunction with one of the main prompts.
There are also some important Santa “Clauses” to take note of, but if you have any questions feel free to ask me and I will get the answers for you!
The Prizes
There are some amazing prizes and sponsors this year! Three members of the winning team will win a $20 gift card to Book Depository and there will also be gift cards that you can win on Trivia Night. Erik has also put together a cute prize for someone on the winning team.
The Merch
If you love the reindeer graphics as much as I do, you will be happy to learn that there is merch, including bookmarks, mugs, magnets, pins, etc.
Liveshows and Trivia
There will be live shows and reading sprints throughout December and I will be joining as many of those as I can! There will also be a Christmas Trivia night and the date for that is TBD.
