What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading

I am currently listening to Finding Me on audio and I wouldn’t be surprised if I finish it by the time this post goes up. I cannot stop listening to Viola Davis telling her story. She talks a lot about her difficult childhood and the bond that she shares with her sisters. She also talks about her passion for acting and where that started and how her relationship with her craft has change over time. I know I will be watching a lot of her interviews as soon as I finish this!
Just Finished

I read Autumncrow on Halloween and it was perfect for that! This is a series of short stories all set in a spooky town called Autumncrow. There were some stories in this collection that really stood out to me and I had to sit with them for a while. I was impressed by this and it is available on Kindle Unlimited if you are interested.
I have been on the hunt for a thriller that works for me and Anywhere You Run was it! That said, I know that this is marketed as a thriller, but I would label it as historical suspense. It follows two Black sisters living in Jim Crow Mississippi who find themselves on the run, so you can imagine how harrowing this book is. I connected with Wanda M Morris’ writing and her characters, so I am desperate to read more from her!
Starting Next

I have to get started on my Once Upon a Readathon TBR, so I will be reading Twin Crowns next! I am really looking forward to this. It has been a while since I read a YA fantasy that focused on royalty. I am definitely in the mood for it!
