I just started Unconquerable Sun for the Book Check Out Book Club! This is our first book club month, and there will be a live show sometime in October. I just started it, so no thoughts yet, but I have heard incredible things about Kate Elliott and I have been in the mood for SciFi. Check out the Discord if you want to join in the discussion!
Just Finished
I, like everyone else, listened to I’m Glad My Mom Died and it was a tough read. I never watched iCarly, but I don’t think you have to be familiar with Jennette McCurdy to connect with her story. It was heartbreaking!
I love reading cozy mysteries this time of year and we started off strong with Baking Bad. It is a cozy mystery with dragons and was such a good time. I cannot wait to continue on with the series!
I have a full review of The Kiss Curse, but I enjoyed this and thought it was a good time. It felt like I was reading a Hallmark movie set in Star Hollows with witches!
Starting Next
I have a feeling that Unconquerable Sun is going to take me a while to get through, so I have no idea what I will be in the mood for! I am putting together a list of witchy book recommendations and I have a feeling that The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches could be a favourite, so I would like to get to it soon.

Great post! I’ve heard of The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches. It sounds really good, I haven’t read it yet though. I’m currently reading the second book in The Summer I Turned Pretty series. I’ve heard so many say that the first book is the only good book in the series, but so far I am really enjoying the second book. It’s definitely a bit of a heavier read, but overall, good.
I read The Summer I Turned Pretty years ago and remember devouring the entire series!
