This is a tough one for me because I am notorious for not completing series, so the idea of adding books to series is overwhelming, but I tried my best!
It has been years since I read The Blood of Eden series, but it continues to be one of my favourite vampire series. I know that Julie Kagawa has been publishing new books in her Iron Fey series, so I would love it if she returned to The Blood of Eden and maybe that would help it to get more readers. It is criminally underhyped!
I know that I always say that I love a good duology, and that is true, but I need more books in the Raybearer world! Maybe even a companion series of some kind? It is just so interesting and there are a lot of characters from the original story who I think deserve their own novels.
The Kiss Quotient is one of the series that made me fall in love with romance again, and I believe that the series is complete at this point. I’ll be honest, Helen Hoang could continue this series forever and I would continue to devour every single book.
You know how much I love the Practical Magic series and we are lucky that Alice Hoffman blessed us with three books all these years after Pracitlca Magic came out, but I just want more. Give me all of the prequels from every generation!
I adored The Greenhollowed Duology and thought it wrapped up perfectly, but I miss these characters and want more from them. Emily Tesh does have a full-length novel coming out in 2023, so at least we have that to look forward to!
That is it! I couldn’t get to ten, but I am happy with the series I did come up with. It was a good reminder to focus on series because there are some amazing ones out there.

What book would you recommend starting with for the Practical Magic series??
I think you could read them chronologically, but I’d read them based on publication date! I actually think Practical Magic is the weakest of the four, so best to get it out of the way 😂
I want to read Alice Hoffman books. I feel like they will be good for Halloween month! I also like the look of the The Kiss Quotient series.

I struggled with this topic so I went rogue 😂 I’m not the best at finishing series either! I still need to finish Hoang’s and Tesh’s series even though I loved all the ones I did read in the series. I don’t know why I haven’t completed them yet! Great list 🙂

I need to get to the Alice Hoffman books. I even reread Practical Magic so I’d feel ready for the rest of the books… and somehow, other things have always gotten in the way.
I can’t relate to that for sure. Fall is the perfect time to read the rest of the series!
great list! I haven’t gotten to Raybearer yet, but I’d love to see more fantasy series instead of duologies in YA so there can be more time spent with the world & characters!
