Stacking the Shelves (#13)

Stacking The Shelves (hosted by Reading Reality) is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

I have not bought any physical books lately but Netgalley has blessed me, so I will be sharing all of the eARCs and ALCs I have been approved for recently.

Christmas ARCs already!? I am here for it! Kiss Her Once for Me is by the same author of The Charm Offensive, which I have yet to read but have heard amazing things about. All I know is that her newest book is sapphic and follows a woman who is in a fake engagement with her landlord but ends up falling for his sister!

The cover of Reasonable Adults is the cutest thing, and I hope that the dog plays a huge role in the story. I knew that this was a book I was interested in when I heard it was set in Muskoka, which is close to my hometown!

I have never read anything by Shea Ernshaw but I have been meaning to and A Wilderness of Stars is going to be the book that finally makes me do it! I love that it is a fantasy romance following a teen astronomer who is following a message from the stars. Sounds like it is going to be beautiful!

Bloodmarked!!! I screamed when I got this email! I cannot begin to express to you how excited I am about this. I was so surprised by Legendborn and cannot wait to see where Tracy Deonn takes this story.

Lynn Painter is another author I have been meaning to read from and I do have a copy of Better than the Movies, which I hope to read before I pick up The Do-Over. Historically, the “groundhog day” trope hasn’t worked for me, but I am still curious about this one!

A Half-Built Garden is a SciFi novel I have been excited about and I am so thrilled that I have an ALC. It has been a while since I have read a “first contact with aliens” story, so I am definitely due for one!

I am currently listening to Just Like Home and I don’t know how to feel about it! I have no clue where this story is going, but I love the setup and it is definitely creepy. I also connect with Sarah Gailey’s writing!

With a title like The Book Eaters, you know I had to request this book! It actually follows a group of people who eat books, which sounds fun and quirky, but this is apparently a horror? I am so curious!

Give me all of the book puns and book-related romances! The cover of Booked on a Feeling is too adorable and I will never pass up the opportunity to read a romance following booklovers.

A Strange and Stubborn Endurance is so outside of my comfort zone but I have heard some great things about this fantasy romance.
