Stacking The Shelves (hosted by Reading Reality) is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

I was approved for three books from Netgalley this week. Macmillian Audio really pulled through! Ordinary Monsters is the start of a new historical fantasy series. After reading and loving The Golem and the Jinni, I have been craving more historical fantasy, so I am curious to see what I think of this 672-page novel.

This Vicious Grace is one of my most anticipated releases of the year, so I was thrilled to be approved for this audio! All I know is that it is a debut fantasy with the bodyguard trope. Yes, please!

Acts of Violet is one of my five-star predictions for the year! I absolutely loved Oona Out of Order, so I am excited for another book from Margarita Montimore!

I downloaded two books from this month’s Libro.fm offerings for influencers, both of which are romance. I have already listened to Book Lovers, and, despite loving the beginning, I ended up having mixed feelings about it. More about that soon!

I have not read a lot of historical romance, but I am excited to try it, especially since I already know that I love Alexis Hall. A Lady for a Duke comes out later this month and I plan to listen to it once I am finished with Nettle and Bone. I can’t wait!

I received two physical ARCs from Penguin Canada this week, and I am equally excited about both! When We Fell Apart is a debut and, from what I understand, is a family drama. It follows a Korean American man who is searching for answers to his girlfriend’s death. I am curious to see what I think!

Every Summer After looks like the perfect beach read! I have been told it is a RomDram and is quite emotional. I am so ready for it!

I bought one book this week. I finally gave in to all the hype! I have not seen anyone give Lessons in Chemistry a bad review.
