Ten Books From Kindle Unlimited That I Want to Read ASAP

I invested in my first Kindle late last year but I am just now fully embracing it! I have typically used it to read Netgalley ARCs, but I am now dipping my toes into the world of Kindle Unlimited. There is such an interesting selection of books that are available and I thought it would be fun to talk about ten of the books that are on my more immediate TBR.

I have read only two books from Alexis Hall, but I thoroughly enjoyed them both! I was so excited to see that Something Fabulous was available on Kindle Unlimited. I love a good Regency romance, but this one has been getting mixed reviews. I have seen quite a few people DNF it! I am happy that Kindle Unlimited will allow me to give it a chance without having invested too much into it.

Opening Day is April 7th, so I thought it would be fun to read a baseball romance. The Dugout by Meghan Quinn came highly recommended, so I downloaded it from Kindle Unlimited and flew through it! While it was not perfect (major “not like other girls” energy), I had a great time with it and want to read the other books in the series. Each of the books follows a different baseball player from the same team!

I love the entire concept behind the ’90s Kinda Love series because each of the books is inspired by an iconic ’90s R&B song! The first book in the series is Lay Your Head On My Pillow, and the entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Rules for Dating a Bookshop Owner is one of the books that was recommended to me for my 12 Challenge, so I was thrilled to find it on Kindle Unlimited. The title alone tells me it is going to be something I love!

I saw a tweet from the author of The Bachelor’s Valet and I was instantly attracted to the cover. I have heard there is no conflict and is a fluffy and comforting romance. It is also under 150 pages, so perfect for when I need a mood booster!

I think that Kindle Unlimited is widely known for having a ton of romance, and that is definitely the genre that makes up the majority of the books on my Kindle; however, there are also a lot of amazing books from a wide variety of genres!

The Zodiac Academy has exploded and is absolutely everywhere. I don’t normally give into hype, but something about this series intrigues me. Obviously, astrology plays a huge role in this story, and the two main characters are Geminis, as I am! I feel like I need to at least give it a chance. The entire series is on Kindle Unlimited, and I think some of the books are pushing 1000 pages, so it is a commitment.

I spoke a little bit about Athena’s Child in yesterday’s post, but this is a Greek Myth retelling. I am so up for a book from Medusa’s perspective!

I actually have a physical copy of Parable of the Sower, but I was excited to see that it was available on Kindle Unlimited! I tend to read my Kindle at night, so there is a good chance I will finally get to this book. I believe a lot of Octavia E. Bulter’s books are available on Kindle Unlimited, which is exciting!

Victora Lee is one of the authors I want to discover in 2022, so I was excited to find out that The Fever King was on Kindle Unlimited! The sequel is on there as well, which is nice.

  1. I hope you enjoy these! There are so many titles on KU that I would like to try.

  2. I love KU. You should try Kit Oliver, Lucy Score or Claire Kingsley. Ooh—or AJ Lancaster, if you like fantasy!

    Happy TTT!

  3. I’ve been considering joining KU over the past week, but between you another another post like this I saw today I think I’m finally going to make the plunge. So many good options!

  4. I just paid for 6 months of KU, thanks for this list! I had the Zodiac Academy book on there already!! I can’t wait to pick that one up and see what all the hype is about. 🙂

      1. Yes, there’s been a lot I’ve enjoyed in March! Yea, I didn’t realize how chunky those books are!!!

  5. Fun topic! I’m very hooked on my Kindle (and I love that the Kindle app on my phone syncs with my Kindle device, so I can seamlessly switch back and forth when I’m out of the house). I haven’t taken enough advantage of free options for Kindle books, but it looks like you’ve found some good ones. Parable of the Sower is excellent!

  6. Beware the Zodiac Academy series. I decided to try the first one just to see if it lived up to the hype and ended up unable to stop. Every book ends on a big cliffhanger that makes it impossible not to jump straight into the next one

  7. I love KU too! I’m trying to go all digital with my books even though I still love a physical book. Anything by Colleen Hoover on KU is my recommendation!! Also thanks for the 90’s kind of love series! I’m going to look into it!

  8. Yay for choosing the same topic! There are so many hidden gems on KU and I love it so much. I mainly use it for lots of romances (I *love* Quinn’s books so much!) but I do have a few SFF titles too. I’ve got Something Fabulous on my TBR and I can’t wait to read it. I wish Black Sun and Parable were on KU UK but sadly, they aren’t 🙈 That’s the only thing that I wish would be the same for all Amazon locations lol
