WWW Wednesday (February 16th, 2022)

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

I just started an ALC of The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea and I have a feeling that I am going to fly through this audiobook. We jump right into the action, which was a little bit jarring at first! I thought there would be more setup, but we are learning more and more about the world as the story progresses. This makes me want to explore more Koren mythology retellings!

Just Finished

Love & Other Disasters was hilarious, sweet, and super steamy! I absolutely loved the setting of this romance. I have read so many books that take place on the set of a baking competition, but this was a cooking show and we get to see the contestants do everything from gutting fish to milking cows. I loved all of the relationships that were formed on this show, both romantic and platonic.

Starting Next

I have been reading a lot of romance lately and with Valentine’s Day behind us, I am so ready for some darker reads! I have an ALC of Dead Silence, though it is out now. I love the idea of a SciFi horror- this book is just calling to me!

  1. I’m glad to hear The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea is off to a good start, I’m really looking forward to listening to that one! Netgalley hasn’t approved my request for the audio arc so I’m not hopeful I’ll listen to it early, but thats ok, I already have it on hold at my library LOL

  4. Have fun with Dead Silence when you get to it! It was pretty creepy. And I can’t wait until The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea is released so I can pick it up <3
