Blogmas (Day Eighteen) | Stacking the Shelves (#1)

Stacking The Shelves (hosted by Reading Reality) is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

I am listening to Slashing Through the Snow, the third book in the Christmas Tree Farm Murder series, as we speak and will most definitely be done with it by the time this is posted. I read the first two books in November and was counting down the days for the audiobook release of the third book. These books are perfect if you are looking to get into the Christmas spirit and/or want to try cozy mysteries!

I bought and have already read the ebook of Amor, Actually. I meant to read a story a night, but I couldn’t stop myself. The stories in this collection are festive and super steamy. I highly recommend it! It lives up to its cover!

The Christmas Bookshop is the only physical book I bought this week. I could not resist that cover! I am currently reading it and it is fun so far. I love books about sisters with complicated relationships and I also love that it is set in a failing bookstore. This is my first Jenny Colgan!

I was approved for an eARC of The Pink Hotel, which comes on July 19th, 2022. It is set in the Beverly Hills Hotel and follows the staff and guests who are trapped there during wildfires. It is giving me White Lotus vibes and I cannot wait to read it!

I snagged an ebook copy of A Lot Like Adios because it was on sale and I have been meaning to read it since it first came out. I absolutely loved You Had Me at Hola!

Audiobooks.com puts together a list of audiobooks each month and allows members to choose one for free. I settled on The Nature Fix because I remember hearing good things when it first came out and I do like nonfiction about nature and the environment.
