There are so many readathons happening in December and I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to join, but I ultimately settled on the Reindeer Readathon because I loved the prompts and that it is team-based. This readathon is hosted by Eric @ Breakeven Books and you can find everything you need to know on the Twitter page! I was randomly assigned to Team Mistletoe and have joined the discord. I am notoriously terrible at readathons, but I am so determined this time because I am in such a festive mood this year!
Dasher (10 PTS): A short story (or collection) or novella
I was so excited to see that short story was a prompt for this readathon because Amor Actually is my most anticipated release of December! How cute is this cover?! It is a collection of love stories that take place on Christmas Eve. I cannot wait to read it!
Dancer (15 PTS): A book by one of your favourite authors (rereads count too)
I have read the first chapter of Window Shopping and it already surprised me! I love looking at department store windows at Christmas, so I am excited to get some behind the scenes on what goes into that. I also love that we are getting a bit of a reverse grumpy/sunshine trope where the woman is grumpy and the man is sunshine. Plus, I adore Tessa Bailey!
Prancer ( 20 PTS): A book with a travel element in it (vacation, quests, etc.)
I love Farrah Rochon, so I was excited to find this holiday collection from her! Christmas Kisses seems to be two short stories, both of which involve a character going on vacation. One is set in Tuscany and the other at a ski resort in Vail. Can’t wait to read them both!
Vixen (20 PTS): A book that recently caught your eye
Slashing Through the Snow is the third book in the Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series and the entire series is one that recently caught my eye and introduced me to cozy mysteries! I flew through the first two books in the series and I have a countdown on my phone for the audiobook release of the third.
Comet (15 PTS): A 5 star prediction
The Thursday Murder Club has been absolutely everywhere lately and I just have this feeling that I am going to love it! It is a murder mystery that takes place in a retirement community and follows four residents of this community who come together to solve the murder. Say no more! My gut is telling me this is going to be a five-star read.
Cupid (25 PTS): Take a shot at reading a new author
The Matzah Ball is Jean Meltzer’s debut and it is one I am really excited about! It follows a Jewish author who anonymously writes Christmas romances and her publisher tells her it is time to write a Hanakkuh romance, despite the fact that she has distanced herself from the religion. She decides to attend the Matzah Ball to reconnect with the community and it is also a hate-to-love romance!
Donner (20 PTS): A book with green or red as the primary colour on the cover
There were so many books I could have chosen for this prompt, but I finally settled on Eggnog Murder because I have a feeling I will want to read another cozy mystery. This is an interesting one because it is written by three authors and it connects to each of their different series! I have read any of their other books, but I believe I can read this one like it is a standalone.
Blitzen (30 PTS): Choose at least 3 books and have one chosen randomly to read

I started listening to The Holiday Swap but then stopped because I knew it would be perfect for this readathon. Anyone who is a fan of The Holiday or The Parent Trap will love this one. I am here for the baking and the sisterhood. Plus, from what I can tell online, it is a standalone.

Oh, I got the same feelings. They are so fun, but then you have to plan them, and read them. Plus, for a moodreader, it can be hard. Read a thriller… *my mind not in murder mood but in a happy frolicking mood* XD
