Currently Reading
I am so excited to be reading The Book of Magic, which is the last book in the Practical Magic series. I absolutely adore Alice Hoffman’s writing and this is by far my favourite witchy series. I will be sad to see it end, but I am curious to see how the Owens family finally breaks their curse.
Just Finished
I had no idea going into The Lighthouse Witches that it would become one of my favourite books of all time. Everything about this book worked for me, from the setting to the characters to the lore. I loved all three perspectives and thought that the mystery element was interesting. If you are looking for a Gothic, witchy read, The Lighthouse Witches is for you!
Starting Next
I thought I would make this a witchy-themed week and finally start A Discovery of Witches! I have had the boxed set since Christmas of last year and have been saving it for this time of year. I also want to read the book before watching the TV adaptation!

I’m currently reading Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. So far, it is shaping up to be an interesting story. The author has a background in zoology and animal behaviour and I can see she has incorporated her knowledge of these two fields into her story. So far so good.
I read that last year and thought it was fantastic. You can really tell that the authors background played into the story!
