Life Update

So, I want to get back into posting regularly, but it doesn’t feel right without acknowledging that I sadly had to put my cat, Maggie, down earlier this week. She was my bestie, my blogging buddy, and my shadow. She came into my life when I needed her most, and I will always have a special connection to her.

I was actually Maggie’s fourth home, and I am so honoured that I was the one who cared for her for the last six years of her life. She was my Nona and Nono’s cat, and I took her in when my Nona passed away and my Nono moved into a retirement home. When my Nona was sick, all she had in the hospital with her was a photo of Maggie. She was such a special cat!

She was a calico, so she had some attitude, which I loved! And she was a book lover! I could not put a book down without her deciding to use it as a pillow. I already miss her so much and just want to share a few photos of her here, as she was truly by my side as I wrote most of my blog posts over the past four years.

I appreciate you all so much!
