I love a good opening line! That is why I always share a book’s first line when I write a review. I thought it would be fun to share my favourite opening lines from the books I have read so far this year.

If I had to choose a favourite opening line that would probably be it! So good!
Fun post! That line from Pride and Premeditation, “It’s a truth universally acknowledged that a brilliant idea, conceived and executed by a clever young woman, must be claimed by a man.” Has too much truth to it in the real world! But, it sure would keep me reading after that.
