A new release you’ve already read
I have read so many new releases so far this year! Of the 68 books I have read as of June 16th, 32 were published in 2021. There are just so many amazing books coming out this year that I can’t resist! I am also lucky enough to be sent ARCs and ALCs. Scribd has been great for keeping up with new releases as well.
A new release that’s already come out but you haven’t read yet
For as many 2021 release that I have read, there are still so many that are already out that I have my eye on!
A new release you’re excited about from one of your favourite authors
Helen Hoang, Marie Lu, Alice Hoffman, and Jordan Ifueko are all authors I absolutely adore. I have countdowns for the release of all of these books. I am so excited!
A new release you’re excited about from a new-to-you author
There are so many, but these three have been getting a lot of buzz and I cannot wait to read them!
A new release you have no interest in
The premise for Survive the Night intrigues me, but it has been getting mixed reviews and I have yet to love anything I have read by Riley Sager! I think it is time for me to realize that his books just aren’t for me.
A new release you want to pick up soon
This is cheating because I am actually listening to She Drives Me Crazy right now, but I am really loving it and want to give it some love! I have also been meaning to read Arsenic and Adobo since it came out- I am in such a cozy mystery mood!
A new release with an amazing cover
I feel as though I could have chosen pretty much any new release for this question! There has been some really stellar book covers this year!
Your favourite new release you’ve read so far this year
I have loved a lot of new releases this year, but something about Project Hail Mary has stood out to me. I loved the writing, the characters, the humour- pretty much everything about this book!

You really have read a lot of new releases this year! Good for you. For the new releases you haven’t read yet, I highly recommend the Soulmate Equation. I loved that one.
