Top Ten Backlist Books on My Physical TBR

The #dothethingathon readathon has come to an end, and while I spend most of the week fighting a migraine, I did end up reading two books that I have been wanting to read for years.

It feels so great to have finally read Golden Son and Know My Name, so I thought I’d put together a list of backlist books that I have owned for ways too long and haven’t read.

Pachinko is a book that I have put on so many TBRs but have never picked up. I have a feeling I am going to love it but I just never make the time for it. It is getting ridiculous at this point!

I actually started A Place For Us last summer but wasn’t in the right mood for it. I love a good family saga though and was intrigued, so would love to finally finish it!

My copy of The Great Believers is actually annotated by the author and I love the idea of getting some inside information as I am reading. I feel like I am just waiting for the perfect moment to experience it.

American Gods is the book that has been on my physical TBR the longest…

Ayesha at Last is a Pride and Prejudice retelling set in Toronto! The author’s newest book is getting some buzz, so I would like to read them both at some point this year!

As a Canadian, it is shameful that I have yet to read The Handmaid’s Tale!

I have been wanting to read something by Kate Morton for a long time. I have a feeling she could become a favourite author for me! The only one I physically own is The Forgotten Garden.

I actually have a signed copy of The Fountains of Silence! Ruta Sepetys is another author I think I will love and I keep meaning to read more YA historical fiction.

I think I will finally be reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone in June! I am curious to see what I think because it gets such mixed reviews!

The Interestings was such a cover buy for me but I would still love to read it!
