My Favourite Christmas Ornaments (Blogmas Day Eight)

This week’s TTT topic is a holiday freebie, so I thought it was a perfect time to share some of my favourite Christmas ornaments. My tree is what you would call eclectic. There is no theme and I just use whatever ornaments I love- some that mean a lot to me and others I just think are cute. Much like someone’s bookshelf, I think a person’s Christmas tree can tell you a lot about them.

As you can see, my cat (Maggie) is a huge fan of the tree! Luckily, she doesn’t climb it or anything. She simply likes to stare at it and sleep on the tree skirt.

You will notice that a lot of my ornaments are from Old World Christmas, and I just love them all. Of course I had to get this calico one that looks just like Maggie!

I love baking, so I thought that this baking tool ornament was the cutest thing ever!

It is a bookworm! How cute is that!?

More books! They have so many adorable bookish ornaments. There is one of A Christmas Carol that I have my eyes on.

The Cheshire cat!

I love buying ornaments whenever I travel. This Boston one is one of my favourites, as Boston quickly became my favourite city.

This snowflake ornament is from William Sonoma, and I love how it looks like a sugar cookie. I also have a Christmas tree one!

This stack of books is from Indigo here in Canada. Definitely one of my favourites- I love the colours!

Of course I have to have a Beauty and the Beast ornament on my tree! And this one lights up!

This is a Kate Spade ornament and it is really beautiful in person. It is a Christmas bow and I just think it is stunning!

Do you have a favourite Christmas ornament?

  1. I wasn’t able to see all of these photos. Not sure if it was a problem with your post or my laptop. But the ones I saw were gorgeous.

    My post.

  2. I’m only able to see the first photo but I see your response to Lydia about fixing it! I love seeing peoples Christmas ornaments so I’ll defo come back and check it out then 🙂

  3. I love seeing how people decorate their trees! Everyone has their own style. And luckily our cats don’t mess with our tree either (or at least not to much haha). :):)

  4. Beautiful ornaments! My family has a tradition where my mom buys each of the kids an ornament that represents something significant about the year. I think my favorite that I can think of atm is the one with a picture of my Sweet Baboo (beloved kitty), who passed away this year. Looking forward to remembering the grumpy look on his face as I planted a Christmas bow on his head year after year 🤣🎄🐱

    1. That’s such a lovely tradition. I love ornaments with memories attached to them! Sorry for your loss. I am a huge cat person and know how hard it is to lose a pet! I am inspired. I should get ornaments with my cats faces on them!!!

  5. Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving.” ~ J. C. Penney

Have a wonderful Christmas and joyous days ahead with warm laughter. Take care.
