The time has come! Get read for all of the Christmasy/wintery book tags! I did the Jingle Bell Book Tag a couple years ago, so I wanted to bring it back.
“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?
I do not think I have seen a single bad thing about The House in the Cerulean Sea! I have heard that it is the book that we all need right now, and I think it could be a good one to end the year with.
“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?
I normally know my absolute favourite of the year, but there are a few contenders this year! I had a hard time choosing between The Pull of the Stars, Raybearer, The Midnight Library, and Hamnet. I ultimately settled on The Pull of the Stars because I just love Donoghue’s writing and this book is so timely. Although it is about a pandemic, there is something hopeful about it.
“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has most festive look to it?
There are a lot of festive books on my TBR, but I wanted to share one that I have read recently. I thought that In a Holidaze was cute, though it is not my favourite Christina Lauren novel. That said, there is no denying that the cover is super festive. I love looking at it!
Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?
Charlotte’s Web is one of the few books on my shelves that I kept from childhood. I remember when my dad bought it for me and just seeing this cover brings me a wave of nostalgia.
The Grinch | Your favourite villain…
Would we call AIDAN a villain? I think it is complicated and that it what I love about them.
The Holiday | Name your favourite TWO couples…
Dani and Zaf have to be the cutest couple ever. I absolutely loved their dynamic and how they balanced one another. As much as I adore Dani, I have such a soft spot for Zaf. I am excited to see them again in Act Your Age, Eve Brown!
Sloane and Jason have such a sweet meet cute and I just adored how respectful he was of her boundaries. I also love that he is a musician- it is no secret that I am drawn to celebrities in my romance.
What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?
I have said it many times, but The Midnight Library is a book that I think we all need to read in 2020. I would buy you all copies if I could! It really did my heart good.
