This Year I Am Reading…

Can you believe that this is my first time reading Jane Eyre?! I am actually listening to the audiobook narrated by Thandie Newton and it is no surprise that she is incredible. This is truly the perfect fall read and has the potential to become one of my new favourite classics. Maybe even on the level of Pride and Prejudice! I am surprised by just how readable and accessible it is. I am very much intrigued by the story.

Last Year I Was Reading…

This is coincidental because I just finished a Christmas book yesterday, In a Holidaze. I guess it is becoming a tradition to read a Christmas book in October? So strange! Anyway, I really loved a lot about Royal Holiday. It is one of my favourite books in The Wedding Date series. It made me crave scones that is for sure!

Obviously Jane Eyre and Royal Holiday have next to nothing in common. The only think that stands out about them to me is that I would consider them seasonal reads- Jane Eyre for Fall and Royal Holiday for the holiday season.
