Blog Posts I Loved This Week

I adore the blogger community. I am constantly in awe of the level of commitment and creativity! I know that I could be better at sharing posts from my fellow bloggers, so I plan to make this a weekly feature where I share some of my favourite posts of the week!

Emme @ A Literary Latte posted an interesting discussion about what it is like to be a book blogger who doesn’t write book reviews. I personally post one book review a week, while other bloggers post many more or none at all. I think finding what works for you is what is most important, and I loved reading Emme’s thoughts on the topic and what plans she has for the future of her blog.

I have never put too much thought into what makes a book historical fiction, so it was really interesting to read Davida’s (The Chocolate Lady’s Book Reviews) opinions on the subject! From reading the comments, it seems as though there are a lot of different opinions! I am curious to research more about how books are labelled in terms of genre.

Fadwa @ Word Wonders is both a book blogger and a booktuber, so she has some insight into both platforms, which she shares in this comprehension post. I agree with so much of what she said about book blogging, and, as someone who is curious about Booktube, it was really interesting to read her perspective.

Ally @ Ally Writes Things shared six diverse short story collections, many of which I added to my TBR. I recently spoke about how I am starting to love short stories, so this post was so helpful!

I know that many of us have questions when it comes to how to request ARCs, which is why Cielo’s (Bellerose Reads) ultimate guide to ARCs is so helpful! It is a very thorough look at various ARC websites and what not to do with ARCS.

There are so many blog posts that I love each and every week, so this is just a fraction of the ones that stood out to me!

What was your favourite blog post of the week and/or do you have a post of your own that you are proud of? Leave a link in the comments!
