Blog Posts I Loved This Week

I adore the blogger community. I am constantly in awe of the level of commitment and creativity! I know that I could be better at sharing posts from my fellow bloggers, so I plan to make this a weekly feature where I share some of my favourite posts of the week!

Charvi @ Not Just Fiction shared five narrators who transformed her reading experience. I know that the narrator can make or break an audiobook, so it is nice to have some recommendations! I adored The Test by Sylvain Neuvel, and I cannot wait to listen to the audiobook. Charvi also wrote a post about attempting to read 30 books in 30 days, which is definitely worth reading!

Cierra Cynosure wrote an amazing review of Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko. Libro fm was kind enough to send me an ALC of Raybearer, which I am listening to right now, and it is incredible. Cierra’s review is thorough, insightful, and fun to read! I love that she included a mood board and quotes from the novel. If this book wasn’t already on your radar, this review will certainly inspire you to pick it up.

Stephen @ Stephen Writes discusses the pros and cons of thrillers. As someone who is newer to thrillers, I found this to be a compelling discussion and something that I have thought about myself. There is so much to love about the genre, but Stephen makes some great points on how it can be improved.

thoughts orangutan

The Orangutan Librarian talks about why escapism is important! They have some interesting thoughts on why reading to escape is important during our current climate, and I absolutely agree! I also really enjoyed reading the conversation that was had in the comments.

Eternity Books

Rukky @ Eternity Books has a really interesting discussion about real vs. online personas. It can be difficult to know just how much of your real life to share on your blog. It is a fine balance!

There are so many blog posts that I love each and every week, so this is just a fraction of the ones that stood out to me!

What was your favourite blog post of the week and/or do you have a post of your own that you are proud of? Leave a link in the comments!
