I am such a sucker for an amazing opening line, so when I saw that they were recently the topics of both Top Five Tuesday and Top Ten Tuesday, I was sad that I Missed them. I mean, I often share the first line of a book in my reviews- I could not skip out on this topic. It is fascinating for me to see how an author chooses to start their novel! There are so many I love, so I will probably share more in the future.

I’ve got WILD BEAUTY on my TBR and that opening line has convinced me to bump it up the pile!

Oona Out of Order is on my tbr! Was it amazing?! The Dreamers sounded so phenomenal, but I don’t think it would make a good read … right now. Also, I can’t bring myself to read anything with a baby in danger/sick since I became a parent, it’s just too upsetting.
It was amazing!!! You are right about The Dreamers. I know some people have been reading pandemic books, but I’ve been avoiding them. I totally get where you are coming from!
