Links I Loved This Week

I often come across articles, videos, products, recipes, etc. that I feel compelled to share with you all, but I never knew quite how to go about it. I always post my non-bookish monthly favourites, but that didn’t feel like enough. That is why I have decided to start sharing the links of loved either ever Saturday or every other Saturday, depending on how many links I have found. I hope maybe it will help you learn a little more about me outside of my love for reading!

Normal People was one of my favourite books of 2019 and I was thrilled to hear that it was being adapted into a TV series. A teaser was released this week and it feels like it captured the tone of the novel. Unfortunately, Hulu isn’t available here in Canada, so that is frustrating!

I was VERY late to the game, but I binge-watched Game of Thrones in 2019. I have officially jumped on the bandwagon. I am also a fan of prequels, so I was thrilled that we received news about all of the Game of Thrones prequels we have to look forward to.

The Kansas City Chiefs are my dad’s favourite football team, so I was thrilled for him that they won the AFC Championship. I mean, if the Detroit Lions couldn’t make it to the Superbowl, the Chiefs would be my second choice.

Half Baked Harvest has quickly become my favourite food blog. This week I tried her Brocolli Cheddar Chicken and Rice Casserole, and it was so delicious and easy to make. Highly recommend!

The Sims 4: Tiny Living stuff pack was released this week, and I can not wait to try it out for myself. I love the idea of being challenged to create smaller homes.

What did I miss this week? Share in the comments!

  1. I have been dying to start playing The Sims again. I keep eyeing it for my PS4, but I’m afraid I won’t like it not on a computer!

      1. That’s why I haven’t committed to it yet! My computer is too old & slow to support it, so I may just trying finding a used copy and going for it!

  2. I also can’t wait for the Normal People series! Hopefully you will be able to find a way to watch it as the trailer looks really good!
