So, I did this tag two years ago and I am so ashamed that I have only read one of the books that I talked about wanting to read! The story of my life! It is interesting though that the book (The Lonely Hearts Hotel) that I thought had the potential to end up being my favourite book of the year really did end up being my favourite!
Anyway, I have seen this tag going around and I thought it would be fun to do it again two years later. I just can not believe that it is this time of year again and we are about to start a new decade!
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
The audiobook for The Dutch House is incredible and I am enjoying the story very much. I am about half way through and will definitely be finishing it before the end of the year. I put it down because I had so many buddy reads piling up and before I knew it it was nonfiction November! I am looking forward to diving back into this one.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
For me once there is snow on the ground the time for autumnal books is over! I have really been in the mood for holiday/wintry reads this year, but it is hard to even know where to start. Here are just a few that are on my list:

Meg & Jo by Virginia Kantra
There is something about Little Woman that gives me all the warm and fuzzies, and makes me think of this time of year! I am not only super excited for the new movie adaptation, I also can not wait for this modern retelling. It just sounds really sweet and it comes out on December 3rd.

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
I am currently reading The Starless Sea and it is so beautiful so far. I will talk more about it tomorrow in my first impression Friday post, but I would not be surprised at all if it ended up being a contender for my favourite book of the year! It has caught be off guard because I did not love The Night Circus
Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?
I have! The Always Fully Booked 2020 planner will be heading my way shortly, which I am so thrilled about. The woman behind Little Inklings Design is so incredibly talented, and she is a fellow Canadian. I can not wait to get my hands on the planner and start planning my 2020 year of reading.
I have also put together a list of my most anticipated books for 2020, which I will be sharing with you very soon!
AHHHHH! I can’t believe it is that time of year already! I am almost afraid to do this tag because I have a HUGE list of books I want to get to and like no time to read them..

Yay and I’m glad I’m not the only one who already has some sort of list for 2020 😅 I’m also quite intrigued by the Little Women book that youve mentioned. I’ve only ever seen one TV adaptation of it but I’m looking forward to the new film, hope to watch the old one sometime and also want to check out the books. So I’ll have to check out that one too (:

I still can’t believe it’s already November. It feels like it was just Summer. Although, I think that every year, LoL.
There’s one book for me that I keep putting off reading year after year, simply because it’s quite long. I have been wanting to read Alias Grace since I heard about the Netflix series. I am such a fan of Margaret Atwood’s after reading The Handmaid’s Tale. I really hope to finally get around to reading Alias Grace sometime next year.
I never read Jane Eyre, but I saw the Broadway musical. So good.
I’m currently reading A Simple Favor. I’m about half way through reading it, so I’m pretty confident I’ll finish the book before the new years starts.
