Helen Hoang has quickly become one of my favourite contemporary romance authors. The chemistry that she is able to create between her characters is incredible. The Kiss Quotient was charming, sweet, and honest. It is also quite steamy!
(The) Lonely Hears Hotel by Heather O’Neill
Surprise, surprise! I have talked about The Lonely Hearts Hotel so many times on my blog but I can not stop myself. It is one of my favourite books! It is so underrated and I want to put it on as many peoples’ radars as possible. It is one of the most atmospheric novels that I have ever read and I think about it often.
My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows
My Lady Jane is just plain fun! I absolutely loved the twist of Lady Grey’s story. It was so hilarious and I highly recommend the audiobook for this one. I really need to read the rest of the books in this series.
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
Never Let Me Go is arguably my favourite book of all time. There is something so freaking special about it. I would consider it a masterpiece. It is one of those books that will stay with you for forever and will make you think. It is one that I recommend to everyone!
(The) Outsiders
The Outsiders is one of the books that made me fall in love with reading. I distinctly remember how it made me feel. It is the book that made me realize the power of books and how emotional they can be. It has been years since I have read it but it will always be special to me.

I don’t think I will ever feel quite the same way about a book as I do about Never Let Me Go.

I’m SO happy you put “The Outsiders” on here. I just posted a tag saying how this is one of my all-time favourite novels! I haven’t read My Lady Jane yet but I read My Plain Jane and really enjoyed it 🙂

I know eh? And it’s rather quotable! I actually used to know that Robert Frost poem off by heart that’s in the book. I still know most of it but a little spotty at points ha-ha!
My Plain Jane was pretty good 🙂 I kind of didn’t care for Jane’s POV though … ha-ha. Charlotte’s though? AMAZING!!
