The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
This is my first Christina Lauren novel. Their books are so hyped, but I am trying to keep my expectations low. I am about 25% in the to eARC of The Unhoneymooners and it is really fun so far. The beginning was a little convoluted and convenient, but I am totally okay with that in contemporary romance novel.
I am absolutely loving the setting and I am realizing I have not read many books set in Hawaii. This book is really making me miss the beach! Also, there is definitely the enemies to lovers trope and the fake dating trope, which instantly makes me love a book. Things are just getting started but there has already been some great banter. I am excited to see how their relationship progresses.
I think I am going to end up really liking The Honeymooners and that it will be four stars. It comes out May 14th, so will make for the perfect beach read.
P.S. How gorgeous is that cover? I can not wait to see it in person!
