I have been meaning to do this tag since January! I finally have the time to sit down and take some pictures for it. I first saw it on the blog Late Night Reading. Not only is this a tag, it is also a challenge. I timed myself to see how long it takes me to find an answer to all of these questions. My books are scattered everywhere so this should be interesting.

Wow! That took me way longer than I was expecting. I am too embarassed to tell you my time, but it was well over ten minutes. I was staring at my shelves looking for a book written by an author with the same initials as me for way too long, and I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I am out of breath!!
Here is how I did:
1. Do you have a book with deckled edges?
I have quite a few books with deckled edges, but the first one I grabbed was my tenth anniversary edition of American Gods. What is your opinion on deckled edges? I am not sure how I feel about them.
2. Do you have a book with 3 or more people on the cover?
I have not read this one yet, and honestly do not know much about it. I really enjoy nonfiction history books like this one and hopefully I will get to it soon. I love that it follows a mother and her two sons.
3. Do you have a book based on another fictional story?
Circe is a retelling of Homer’s Odyssey that has a feminist twist. I adored this book. Circe is such a complicated character, and I appreciated Madeline Miller’s take on a classic story. I need more Greek mythology retellings from the perspective of a woman!
4. Do you have a book with a title 10 letters long?
Waking Gods ins my favourite book in my favourite series. I was so happy that the title is ten letters long because it gives me another chance to rave about this series. It is so unique, and told through mixed media- so it is a quick read as well. Read it!
5. Do you have a book with a title that starts and ends with the same letter?
I did not include the word “the”. So, “lonely” starts with the letter “l” and “hotel” ends in the letter “l”. This is also one of my favourite books of all time.
6. Do you have a Mass Market Paperback book?
I do not own a lot of mass maker paperbacks, but I had to buy this one. I mean, Chris Hemsworth is on the cover so can you blame me? Who knows if I will every actually read this one.
7. Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name?
Riley Sager is actually Todd Ritter. I remember there being some controversy when this information was revealed. This book was so hyped but I haven’t read it yet. I am still intrigued by it so I plan to pick it up when the mod strikes.
8. Do you have a book with a character’s name in the title?
Surprise, surprise! I love this book, and Evelyn Hugo is a big part of that. She is such a memorable character who feels so real. I wish that she was!
9. Do you have a book with 2 maps in it?
There are actually more than two maps in this epic book! I am slowly making my way through this one and so far it is a masterpiece. The maps are also very helpful and I find myself referencing them often.
10. Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show?
Surprisingly, I do not have a lot of books on my shelves that have been turned in to TV shows. I could have used American Gods, but didn’t want to repeat an answer. There have been a few TV adaptations of Anne of Green Gables. I have heard really great things about the one on Netflix.
11. Do you have a book written by someone who is originally famous for something else?
I do not read a lot of celebrity memoirs, but I have read both of Rob Lowe’s. I am fascinated by him and the brat pack. I just love 80’s movies!
12. Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?
Not just any clock- Big Ben! Isn’t this cover adorable? I do not talk about this series very often but if you enjoy historical fiction I think you will like this one.
13. Do you have a poetry book?
I don’t! I have read a few poetry collections but as an ebook. I am just dipping my toe in to poetry, and I am trying to find what I like. I am thinking of trying some older collections- maybe Mary Oliver!
14. Do you have a book with an award stamp on it?
The greatest book of all time! Kazuo Ishiguro won the Nobel Prize for Literature. This is the only book of his that I have read but I am comfortable saying that he deserved it.
15. Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?
I wish that I did! There very well could be one hiding on my shelves but I can not find it. If anyone has read a book by an author with the initials “K.R.” let me know!
16. Do you have a book of short stories?
I have a few short story collections but this one is my favourite. A River Runs Through It is one of my favourite movies, and the short story did not disappoint. It gave me the same cozy feelings as the movie did.
17. Do you have a book that is between 500-510 pages long?
I have had this book sitting on my shelves for almost a year and I really want to read it. But it is over 1000 pages and that scares me!!
18. Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?
This book is so fun, and the movie is brilliant. I do not think I have ever seen a movie that is so visually stunning. I ran out and bought a copy when it was released, which I rarely do theses days, because I loved it so much.
19. Do you have a graphic novel?
My brother has been raving about this graphic novel, and I do like the Joker as a character. It is so short so I really should just sit down and pick it up one of these days.
20. Do you have a book written by two or more authors?
I love when authors come together and write magic. Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff have great chemistry, and it seems that they have come to realize that. They continue to write novels together and I am here for it.
