My Favourite Posts of the Month

Favourite Blog Post of the Month (1)

This is my monthly meme! It is very easy to participate. All you have to do is share all of your favourite blog posts of the month! I think this is a great way to spread the love and also discover new bloggers!

Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books shares some tips on how to avoid a reading slump! She has a lot of good advice that I plan to put in to practice when I feel a slump coming on! One thing she talks about is mixing things up by reading different genres and formats. That has seemed to work for me!

Shades 0f paper

Nia @ Shades of Paper lists the books that she wants to read this summer and it is a great list of books! She talks about books for a great variety of genres and I added a few to my own TBR and hopefully I will get to them this summer as well!

Taylor Is Reading

Taylor @ Taylor is Reading shares how she edits her bookstagram pictures and it was so informative and helpful! I always say I want to get better at Instagram but I wouldn’t even know where to start. I have bookmarked her post for future reference. I love that she does most of her editing just using the Instagram app.

Lotte @ The Reading Hobbit talks about five movies she liked just as much as the book! It is so rare for the movie to be just as good as the book, so I really enjoyed reading this one and adding some movies to my list of movies I want to watching. I also agree with her that The Lord of the Rings are just as good as the books!

Naty @ Naty’s Bookshelf wrote a post that I so much appreciated about her love of literary fiction. Literary fiction is one of my faovurite genres, and the genre I probably read the most, but it gets such a bad reputation for being boring and pretentious. I love that she talks about why she enjoys the genre and lists some of her favourite literary fiction novels!

Ashley @ Thrifty Bibliophile asks the question ‘What makes a book great?’ It is an amazing read and not only does she talk about all the things that make a book great to her, she also shares opinions from fellow bloggers! It is a really fun discussion and I found myself nodding my head in agreement while reading it.

  1. Awesome post. That reading slump advice sounds like advice I give as well. It’s amazing how much changing genre or book format can help keep you reading.
