I say this to myself every year but I can not believe that 2017 is almost over! It has definitely been a wild year so far. I can truly say that one of the best things I did in 2017 was start this blog! Anyway, this is a fun and appropriate tag so thanks for tagging me Noriko!!
1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
It is rare that I start a book and do not finish it! If I decide to put down a book odds are I will never pick it up again. The one exception to that this year is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I started it while on vacation in the summer and then kind of forgot about it. It is a long book that I really need to dedicate a lot of time to! I really want to finish it soon!
2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I am doing this tag a little late so I am hoping to read more winter/holiday books! I found a few Debbie Macomber and Fern Michaels novels that my mom had so I wouldn’t mind reading those! Help me get in to the Christmas spirit! I also bought My True Love Gave to Me on Book Outlet and am just waiting for it to ship. Really looking forward to reading that anthology.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
I am very curious about Three Sides of a Heart! It is an anthology about love triangles and a lot of great authors have contributed to it. I have seen some mixed reviews but I would still like to pick this book up! It is being released on December 19th.
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
There are so many books that I wanted to read this year that I have just not gotten around to yet! These three are top priority!
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I have read so many amazing books this year so I think it would be tough for any book to really top my current favourites! I picked up The Lonely Hearts Hotel on a whim but I just have this feeling that it is going to be amazing!
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?
I have made a few plans which is very rare for me! I have decided to attempt the PopSugar Challenge. I even made a post talking about which books I hope to read! I am also hoping to finish some sequels that I have started, and read more non fiction novels!

I am 70 pages in to it and while some parts are difficult to read it is really beautiful. I have a feeling it is only going to get better from here!
i’m still not sure how to feel about “three sides of a heart”. it’s an anthology and love triangles. this could go very wrong with me 😀 😀 😀

Golden Son is AWESOME! I think I might actually like it more than Morning Star, but all three books are awesome. I hope you LOVE it!
So many people have told me that Golden Son is the best in the series. Would love to actually finish the series before the end of the year!
You’re going to want to start Morning Star the second you finish Golden Son. Believe me! I did exactly that!
