Favourite Posts of the Month

Favourite Blog Post of the Month (1)

I am so thrilled to be posting my first official post for my new meme! Last week I announced that I was starting a new monthly meme.  It is very easy to participate. All you have to do is share all of your favourite blog posts of the month! I think this is a great way to spread the love and also discover new bloggers!

I want to once again thank Birdie from Birdie Bookworm  and Rhea from Bookchanted for encouraging me to turn this in to a meme!

Sophie from Beware of the Reader had a great idea as well! She suggested that if you are participating to make sure you pingback to me so that I can add a link to your post in this post.  Much like what they do for Top 5 Tuesday! So that is what I am going to do! I can not wait to read all the posts that you loved in November!

Beth from Reading Every Night discusses why there are more female protagonists than male protagonists. It opened my eyes to the fact that the majority of the books that I read do have a female protagonist and I agreed with all of the points that she made.  I think it is important for boys to be able to see themselves represented in YA.

Ceillie from Word Wonders sheds some light on how ADHD affects her reading.  It is my belief that a lot of other readers will relate to this post and that is why I want to share it!

Olivia from Purely Olivia talks about 5 reasons she loves YA contemporary! I have just this year started to really appreciate YA contemporary so I really loved reading her post.

Hannah from Mortal Reader wrote a hilarious post about the lies that book bloggers says.  I could not believe how many of these that I related to!

Marie from Drizzle & Hurricane Books talks about how to find and read only books that you love.  She shares 5 great tips to follow if you want to have a better chance of reading books that you will enjoy.

May from Forever and Everly has an important discuss about whether it is better to have no diversity in novels or have diversity that feels forced.  She brings up a lot of excellent points and there is also a great discussion being had in the comments.

  2. Oh wow, congratulations on creating this meme! I used to always shout out my favourite posts of the month in my wrap ups but I kind of forgot about it recently! And I also feel like my Wrap Ups are full and cluttered as it is so the posts might not be appreciated as much as they should! I’ll definitely try to remember to look for good posts this month to be able to participate in this lovely meme! ❤️

  3. I will post mine tomorrow and pingback as I’m a little overworked today! And I will of course read all these posts this weekend! Thank you for this idea!!!

  5. I love this idea for a new feature Kristin, it’s a really great way to showcase posts from around the blogosphere and I will definitely be checking some of these out myself because, well, I tend to use posts like these for blog hopping purposes. 😀
