I have seen this tag going around Booktube so I was so happy when Meghan from Meghan’s Whimsical Exploration and Reviews tagged me!
1. Totally Should’ve Gotten A Sequel
This is a hard one for me since I love standalones but I would love a sequel to I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. I think that the story wrapped up nicely, but it would still be great to see what happens to Noah and Jude in the future.
2. Totally Should’ve Gotten A Spin-Off Series
Again this is a hard one because I have not read a lot of series! A spin-off series to All the Boys I’ve Loved Before might be fun! I adore Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty, and would love a series based on her high school experience!
3. An Author Who Should Write More Books
Khaled Hosseini is an autobuy author for me and he hasn’t published a book since 2012!! I am not sure if he plans on writing another novel or not but I really hope so. He is a true literary genius!
4. A Character Who Totally Should’ve Ended Up With Someone Else
I have said this so many times but Harry Potter should have ended up with Luna Lovegood! I also think Katniss should have either ended up with Gale or alone.
5. Totally Should’ve Had A Movie Franchise
Could you imagine an Illuminae movie? That would be so EPIC! This needs to happen.
6. Totally Should’ve Kept The Original Covers
Hmm… I normally enjoy the cover changes more than the original covers! I like the new covers for The Diviners but I still think I prefer the original! It is more intriguing and I really like the background.
7. Totally Should’ve Stopped At Book One
I am going to go with Divergent. I really did enjoy Divergent but then it all went down hill after that. I would have been much happier if the story wrapped up nicely in book one.

I totally agree that The Diviners should’ve kept its original covers! Seems people think they would be hard to replicate, but I don’t think so. This is wonderful!

Ahhh I would LOVE to read more of Jude and Noah’s lives! I’ll Give You the Sun was such an incredible book. And ooh getting a spin-off of the Lara Jean trilogy would be super super cute, especially getting Kitty’s POV! <3 Lovely choices, Kristin!

Totally agree that Divergent should’ve stopped at book one; I didn’t even complete the series the first time round! Also YES to Harry and Luna, I really really think they would’ve been perfect together!

I loved I’ll Give You The Sun as a standalone, but since it’s one of my favorite books, I can’t help but being a bit curious as well when it comes to Noah and Jude’s future….a next book would be great ahah 🙂 AND YES for the spin-off about Kitty – this would be SO amazing. She was probably one of my favorite characters in the series 🙂

Did you see that they changed the Diviners covers again? I like it better than the last cover, but the original is still my favorite.

The changed the covers for The Diviners and Lair of Dreams to match the cover design for the newly released third book.
I just looked and I like those way better but my series is going to look like a mess. None of my covers will match!
It makes me glad that I bought my copy of The Diviners from Book Outlet so I didn’t spend a lot of money on it. I’ll just buy the whole trilogy with the new covers and be happy.
