Fall is my favourite time of year! I was so excited when Rhea from Bookchanted tagged me for the Fall Book Tag!

The rules:

  • Please link back to me, Bionic Book Worm, as the creator of this tag!! I want to see your answers!!
  • Use the graphics – if you want
  • Have fun!

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

29283884

There was just something so refreshing about this book! I have never read a historical fiction novel that follows a LGBT main character.  It was so well done, and I became completely connected to all of the characters.

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

5759

The ending of this book is probably one of my favourite endings of all time.  I was lucky enough not to be spoiled and I was completely taken aback by it.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

15749186

Everything from the baking to the romance gave me the warm fuzzies! If you ever need a sweet story that will lift you out of a sad mood than I recommend this whole series.  It is very sweet and charming!

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

23395680

Look how beautiful this cover is! It is even better in person and the colours just scream fall! I also think SciFi is perfect to read this time of year.

Red Rising Pierce Brown

15839976

Normally I am not a huge fan of books that contain as much action as there is in Red Rising, but this book is definitely an exception! While it was definitely action pact, it was also character driven.  Pierce Brown managed to find the perfect balance.

Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore

33158561

I have talked about this book a few times on my blog now but I am more excited than ever for October 3rd! I have been seeing more reviews these last couple of weeks and they have all been amazing.

  1. I loved The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue – and thought it refreshing and unique as well. Can’t wait to read book2. Red Rising has been on my TBR for years now, I still need to pick it up – I’m not giving up. 😀

  2. This tag is so nice!! 🙂 The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue is on my TBR so I hope to get to it really soon! And I loved Red Rising, now I have the second book that awaits for me… I am really excited! 🙂

  3. I am so looking forward to reading The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue…hoping to finally read it in October.

Illuminae was a fun read and I loved Red Rising.

    Great answers!

  4. AHHH TO ALL THE BOYS IVE LOVED BEFORE GIVES ME ALL THE WARM AND FUZZIES!!! Also I MUST read a Gentleman’s Guide because I’ve heard ONLY good things. And Illuminae is such a perfect fall book imo just makes you want to curl up and read all day.

  5. I had no idea fight club originated as a book! Like what? (mind blown) I haven’t seen the movie (well unless you count those five minutes between channel surfing) but it has always caught my eye as interesting. Tell me is the book worth reading? or should I just stick with the movie? To all the boys I’ve loved before was adorable I agree! I’ve been trying to force myself to start the second book, but alas my laziness is at its peak this weak. Great post 🙂

  6. Oh awesome tag! Shanah always has such awesome ideas and this would be no exception ^^
I was unfortunately spoiled for Fight Club and never cared to watch the movie or read the book afterwards… Ugh.
Great answers, and I totally need to read Jenny Han’s series!

  7. I loved a Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, it was refreshing, and ahhhh I love Monty, Percy, and Felicity so much. Also I did not know Fight Club was originally a book.
