WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading-

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco– I bought this book after seeing it on so many fellow bloggers TBRs! I am so happy that I did! This book is dark and mysterious, and perfect for this time of year.  I am only about 100 pages in and can not wait to see where the story is going.  To not be surprised if you see the sequel, Hunting Prince Dracula, on a WWW Wednesday in the near future.

Recently Finished-

The History of Bees by Maja Lunde– I am happy to report that the story itself matches this gorgeous cover! I really enjoyed reading this book, and I was equally invested in each storyline. I have never read a book quite like this before and I loved it.  If you have any recommendations for other books that are set in the past, present, and future I would love to hear them!

Reading Next-

Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman– A Man Called Ove is an all time favourite, so I want to read everything that Backman has written.  I have heard a lot of amazing things about this one so I can not wait to get to it!

  1. Ooh, the cover of A History of Bees just intrigued me, even though I’ve never heard of it until now. Off to go look it up on Goodreads.😉I’m currently reading The Unexpected Everything, by Morgan Matson, and I just finished a really sweet book inspired by Hamilton- it’s called Alex & Eliza.

  2. I still need to read Stalking Jack the Ripper and the sequel Hunting Prince Dracula. I think I’m going to have those books on my reading goals for October.

Let’s see, I literally just finished reading One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake, I’m currently reading Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas and A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Cluess, and after those I’ll probably read The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo and Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu.

  3. I started out really loving SJM’s books but the last two have just been okay in comparison. I still read them quickly and they are written well, but they kinda feel a bit repetitive and such. I do still recommend giving them a try though.

  4. I really like the look of Stalking Jack the Ripper. I must add to my TBR.

Have you read Backman’s latest book Beartown? Just curious as I got an ARC ages ago but have never gotten around to reading.
