WWW Wednesday (1)

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading-

Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty– I have been in a reading slump for the past week but I finally picked up Truly Madly Guilty and I can already tell that it is the perfect book to get me out of my slump.  I know this book has mixed reviews but I am already so intrigued by the story! I can’t wait to see where it goes!

I want to mention that I am still reading East of Eden but I am taking my time with it! I think it will take me a few weeks but I will definitely write a review when I am finished. It is so beautifully written.

Recently Finished-

Nothing!!! I HATE READING SLUMPS! Things are looking up though!

Reading Next-

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab– I won this book in a giveaway run by the lovely Jeannie @ The Happy Clam! I was so blown away by the sweet package that she sent to me! I will be posting an unboxing sometime this week so look out for that! I have heard nothing but good things about this series, and it was just announced that V.E. Schwab will be writing four more books set in this world!

I am hoping this week is better in terms of reading for me! What book are you currently reading?

  1. congrats on the winning! you will have sooooo much fun with “a darker shade of magic”. it’s amazing! 🙂
also, “truly, madly, guily” is on my kindle. i haven’t read any of liane moriartys books, but i have a lot on my tbr. 😀

  2. Reading slumps are the worst bit it sounds like you have some great books lined up. ADSOM is brilliant so I’m sure you’ll enjoy.

I’m so excited about those next four books.

  3. I hope you enjoy A Darker Shade of Magic. I know I’m really looking forward to the new trilogy. The fourth book she’s contracted for with TOR is actually a standalone, but it should still be a good story.

My most recent read was “the princess saves herself in this one” by Amanda Lovelace, my current read is The Dazzling Heights by Katharine McGee, and my next read is Warcross by Marie Lu.

      1. I have a review for Princess Saves Herself up on my blog, but I liked it. I mean, I didn’t like as many poems from this collection as I did from Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, but I still found it to be a worthwhile read.

  4. So sorry you’re in a ready slump 🙈 I’ve heard really good things about ADSOM so I’m sure it will pull you right out of your slump 🌸
