I truly enjoyed all three of the books in this series equally so I figured I would just review the series as a whole! I am just going to post the synopsis of the first book in the series because I do not want to spoil the other books!

- Characters– Lara Jean has become one of my favourite characters. There is something about her that I find so relatable! I am sure many of us can see a bit of ourselves in her. I LOVE Peter! Kitty, Lara Jean’s younger sister is also a favourite, she is spunky and hilarious.
- Families are actually present– I often see people complain that parents and families are often not mentioned in YA and I totally agree! One of my favourite things about this series is how important and present all of the characters parents were. I just adore Lara Jean’s dad and the relationship that he has with each of his daughters.
- BAKING– I love baking so I related to that part of the book so much! I loved reading about all the different baked goods that Lara Jean whips up! I would love if Jenny Han put out a cookbook with all of Lara Jean’s recipes.
- Character Development– It was so nice to see the characters develop throughout the books. Lara Jean goes through a lot and in the end I truly think she comes in to herself. All of the other characters also grow and change- even Lara Jean’s father!
- Realistic Dialogue– I always appreciate when the dialogue between characters is realistic and does not seemed forced. I feel like the characters in this series actually talk like real teenagers would.
- Predictable– There is nothing shocking or mind blowing that happens throughout the series. Sure there are twists and cliffhangers but you always knew how this story would turn out in the end. There were conflicts but I felt that sometimes they were resolved too quickly!
- Margo– She was probably the only character that I didn’t connect with throughout the series. She was irritating at times, and sure she has a little bit of character growth by the third book but not enough to actually make me like her!

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is a great series to binge read! It is such an adorable and sweet series that made me had a smile on my face the whole time. Jenny Han truly knows how to write contemporary novels! If you are looking for a contemporary that has an adorable romance, but also is focused on family relationships and character growth than I think you will truly love this series!
I’ve just listened to the first one on audiobook and surprisingly interested enough to proceed with the rest of it. There’s something I really love about Lara and the dialogue as you said feels very real. I did find the first one quite predictable in some ways though but I guess that’s to be expected with romance.
Yeah I went in to it expecting it to be predictable so I was okay with it! I think you will enjoy the rest of the series as well! It’s interesting to see how the characters grow and change!

I read the first book and remember liking it, but never continued the series (not sure why… I know that I planned to). I don’t really remember what happened in the first book, but I really want to try the series again now!! Great review!!

I just finished listening to the last audiobook last night and I totally agree with your review and overall opinion on the book! This was such a fun trilogy to read and I really enjoyed getting to know Lara Jean – especially in the last book as I could relate to her much more than!
I related to her most in the last book as well! I went through a lot of the same struggles she did when I went away to university! She is just such a great character!
I didn’t really enjoy Jenny Han’s other series, but this sounds pretty fun! I might have to give it a try.
I liked her other series but this one is much better! Her characters are more likeable and I think she has grown as a writer since then!

I agree, I never really like Lara Jean’s oldest sister either. I guess I just didn’t understand her?? I read the first book but never really picked up the series again– maybe I should, though!! I’m in the mood for fun, fluffy reads. 😀

I haven’t got the to read the third book, but I definitely enjoyed the first two! Lara took a while to grow on me, but I ended up grew fond of her <3 I agree, I love how present the family is throughout the series, it's heartwarming!
